Dr Monique Damasco OBGYN Obstetrician Gynaecologist Kogarah South Sydney.

I am an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in minimally invasive pelvic surgery. I completed my medical degree at the University of Newcastle and specialty training at St George Public Hospital, Royal Hospital for Women and The Royal Womens Hospital.

I worked as a fellow in Medical Imaging (ultrasound) at the Royal Hospital for Women, and later obtained a Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound for Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I completed a further two years of fellowship training in Advanced Laparoscopy at the Royal Womens Hospital – Melbourne, where I gained extensive experience with endoscopic techniques (laparoscopy “keyhole surgery” and hysteroscopy) that enable treatment of common and complex problems with minimal impact to your health and improved recovery.

I am able to provide care to you in both St George Private and Kareena Private Hospitals. I am also appointed at St George Public Hospital as a staff specialist and actively teaching trainees of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and medical students of UNSW. If preferred, I am able to consult in Portuguese. When not working I like to spend time with my family and dogs, running and practising yoga.
